We are going to move the range, to the end of the road that goes out to the start of the k&H walk. We are all getting older and, it is time to move it. We will build a new berm, an move the covered range. You will load facing West away from camp, and shoot South. We are going to almost double the parking lot. It needs it badly. The trees have been cut off, so we will stump it and level it. We are going to remove the HUMP that is in the exsisting parking area, and use the sand to level the new area. So we don;t have to actually buy fill. To do all this, we will be renting an excavator, Dozer, and a big Payloader. Bob Brann, from Windsor Fair will run the Excavator, he is VERY GOO at it. There are enough of us with skills enough to run the rest. Like me and Briggs, Ray, steve Kelley an so forth. Get rid of the old woodshed, and make it a campsite, or two. Actually install a real pump that we allready have on the well. Earl is going to do all the plumbing for us, and I will make a cover to keep the idiots out of it, with a combo lock. Maybe put in a foundation for a cooking area at the longhouse. Doc? any ideas? ? Get rid of all the wood on the trail going out to the h&k woods walk. Some of this we can use to make some new benches, and I think we need 2 new hooters also. At spring vous we will pick a date to do all this. Porbably make it at least a 3 day event, Maybe 4. I do not expect everyone to make it for all 3 or 4 days, but I do expext that alot of you could give at least a day or 2.. PLEASE try to we need help to do this. So............. What else? Later Gomer

Just a couple of thoughts.... Double Hooters (side by side not two story) allow you to dig with a backhoe and get plenty deep. If plans can be agreed upon perhaps the buildings could be prefabed and transported to save on-site time. The area that FC discribes could accommodate a "memorial garden", I saw a most impressive one at The Florida Frontiersmen Alafia River Rendezvous. A large natural stone with names carved into it. I have no idea what the cost would be to do the stone carving but perhaps a steel plate could be made theft proof and names be ground into it.
