Norm Voelkel Has Died

Norm was one of the original founders of the A/O's. There will be a service at the Pentecostal church 160 Old Point Rd Madison Maine. September 14 at 10am. After the the service there will be a celebration of life at Norm's and Lady Patricia's home at 412 River Rd No. Anson. The A/o's will fire a volley in Norm's honor. Dress in your gear and bring a smoke pole.
Norm was a life member who brought water for many years to vous until we had a well drilled. He loved seeing the kids carrying on traditional skills!

Danged, sorry to hear. Isn't that the weekend of Arthur's "Living History Heritage" event in Harrington? Wow, I just looked, it's a 2 1/2 hr drive if any of our folks are going to be at the event.

Terry and I were going, Norms service and gathering after takes precedence!

I'm going to set up and help at Arthur's event on Thursday, they have either 7 or 9 schools coming for kids day on Friday and sounds like a lot of folks are not going to be able to make it. So will be there for Friday, get up at O-dark-30 on Sat, drive to Norm's service and memorial, then drive back to help finish out Sat PM and Sunday. Plan on sleeping through Monday after I get home.
