Sept 11...12th 2021 BP event in Columbia Falls

Hey Gang....

The same club that hosts the "Frozen Mosin" shoot is attempting to put on a Encampment in September. I have done alot of their events and shoots. We do overnights in January or February... and they host the Puckerbrush Primitive every Summer. The event site even has a Island that we could camp on. They have range facilities, other campsites, buildings with bathrooms and meeting space. The club members running this are pretty amazing historians that build 16th and 17th century guns from the ground up. The archers are the same. Stim Wilcox will be there. Best primitive bow maker out there. He wrote the book...literally. He's hitting 80 years old and he is a hoot!

Same group is hosting a Bushcraft event this month (Feb 20th) in Orland. I'm planning on doing the ovenright Feb 19th to the 20th. It's a pretty hardcore adventure for some. You are on your own. Great crew...you just need to be prepared for it.

The Ancient Ones may be doing a fun day vous that weekend to introduce new people to camping and competing without shelling out a lot of money. Gomer and I have been discussing it.

Great idea... it's a perfect way to gain new folks to join the club. I'm up to the Winter event for that club this weekend.

We are planning a event the same weekend this Fall...so unfortunately being in two places at the same time does not work! Have a most excellent event!

You and Gomer are both welcome to spend the day this weekend to meet and greet the Bushcraft gang on this Saturday. If you two old timers can get up early enough you can ride up with me! Lol!

Looks like the club is rescheduling the Frozen Mosin that was canceled due to Covid...to next May. They are now looking to do the Black Powder event sometime in August. I'll post updated info as I get it.

Their hugh event... The Puckerbrush Primitive is a go for July if the State gives the nod.
