Going to host a Winter shoot on Saturday last day of December...at my place. This will mark the third year in a row...
Be prepared! After we spin the Wheel of Misfortune you will do 3 events in under 3 minutes. All different then last year's event. :-)... maybe.
And yes...there will be themed targets! Be ready to have a lot of fun and shoot smooth bore only. Be ready to shoot some partnered targets on the luck of the draw. To the faint of heart.. there will be extra points awarded on certain foods you may be asked to digest.
9 am Start.
Guns, Gear, And Grey Matter are all needed to win the shoot.
15 dollar blanket prize or equivalent. Once again Farmington House of Pizza will deliver the food......
Snowshoes or not. The trails will be packed down if there is a lot of snow.

Hello Art,
Nope...no Re Enactor insurance...it's not a Reenactment.
If you want to come and shoot...just sign off on the "Shooting firearms is inherently a dangerous Sport" form.
Just kidding ...
I am pricing site insurance for events at my place for next year. When I open the first Grand Encampment Event it will be in place.

Updated...
Smooth bore only. Decided to make this even more fun! There are certain things that only a smooth bore can do! Buck and ball...and birdshot. I will provide the other projectiles. ;-)

If you joined the Ancient Ones you could have insurance now, not smart to host a shoot without it! Nit Wit

I understand your concern. AL is going to be there. But we are not shooting Briggs split the ball target this time. ;-)
Update...we will attempt 5 events in the first 5 minutes this year. Bring your fire kit.
There will be a grand prize awarded like we did in year one... AL won a pretty handsome possible bags that year !
Waiting for confirmation on two more shooters....

You won't find insurance for 10.00. Nit Wit You really didn't answer my question. Who is insuring the clubs off premise shooting events. Are you saying a $10 membership insures off site events? Pease

The landowner has to be a member, so you would have to pay 10.00 dues, become a member and any shooters would have to become members also. Once the land owner is a member, Charlie lets the insurance company know. Things changed this year, no more guests shooting, so we lowered the dues. NW

Pease: I looked thru my paper work and do not have the information that you are requesting. I believe that what we carry is written for chartered organizations but Charlie could advise you. I believe that NRA also offers something along these lines. I think that one of the problems is that everyone seems to have "Joe Bornstien's" home phone number these days and as you pointed out 2 years ago, law suits can be "all encompassing" and costly.

Shoot will go off as scheduled...
Please...9:30 at my house so we can go out at 10am. Briggs has done a lot of work on the Wheel of Misfortune, and has been a huge help on the event!
This one will be epic.....
House of Pizza will be delivering about noon time!
