Visited with Roy this morning and took the time to sight in my CZ 22 with some federal match ammo and it shot dead on. Can shoot a tiny single hole. Roy got out his and adjusted the scope and he shot an even tinier group. We then worked on roundball loads for my 16 gauge fowler, we had already gotten a terrific shot load and using a wad over the powder and then a bare .675 ball, it shot dead on. At about 55yds (end of the shop) shooting offhand. Just a beautiful blowing the X out of a NRA smallbore 50yd target. Really happy to have accurate shot and ball loads and points dead center without having to bend the barrel. Having gotten both to shoot well, put most of the gear away and tried not to make much noise or move around much to see if the squirrels would come out. After 30 -40 min without one even moving in a nice open stand of oaks that is usually full, , I had to head back to the city. Then this afternoon, Roy posts this. Knew there was a reason he re-filled the bird feeders.
