Maine is one of the safest places during this Covid problem. Let me assure you that there are thousands of tourists from
all over the US. Social distancing guidelines will be in place and you may wear a mask if you choose. The guidelines we
are following do not require masks in the outdoors.
We may order lobsters for campers and we will set up large pots to boil them in. Come relax in the fresh air in a Maine field.
You will be looking for 46 Center road off River road in Livermore, when you get there continue about 400 yards or so.
We will have signs. NEWS FLASH we will be giving away a custom flintlock (built by Terry Briggs) to a lucky camper age 16 and up. The drawing will be on Saturday morning! Someone Registered will win, must be present to win.

Hello all! This should be a good event. Different than what we are used too, but times have changed. It is kinda like what an old member said years ago.............We Ain't dead yet! You had to be there lol. So here is the real deal. We will abide by the guidelines set forth by the powers at be, the best we can. like Nitwit said Maine is the safest place in the nation, and we plan to keep it that way. If everyone uses there God given Brain, and common sense this will be a lot of fun. Any questions or concerns at all Please contact me or Nitwit, and we will do our best to address them. OK................. Enough of that! Now to the good stuff! We have hooters all lined up, nice dry wood all set up, water all set up. The field is open and spacious,The walks have all been filled with range officers, Standing range is all set. Really all we need is you folks to join us! Notice to all range officers, especially the shooting walks. This is just from my 22 years of doing this. Please make the targets for the most part, ones that we can SEE!, and not all that are the size of a GRAPE! I am not saying to make them all Ducks, Just make it fun. You get what I am saying, paint them bright colors, and not all small ones. I have missed the biggest ones on a walk before and hit the small ones. So big targets are not necessary DUCKS. As a famous person once said JUST DO IT! I would like to make this a really fun and laid back event, that we are known for. Any ideas? Just let me know. EXAMPLE.......... Over the years, some of you have heard me talk about having a Blazing saddles type of FARTING CONTEST. Well Nitwit and I talked about it, and you know where that went. The club will supply the B&M baked beans, one night for supper to all that want to Fart. Sometime that evening we will sit around the common fire and let them rip! We will need judges, that I am SURE we will get. I am not sure that 6 foot social distancing will be enough, we will adjust as needed. Things like this. P.S. Watch out for Marilyn!, and Dan! I will post more as things progress. Thanks to all that are running things, with out you all this could not happen at all. My contact info.................. gomer_is_here@yahoo.com 207-592-4418 Later Gomer

Advice: a decorated war hero, 7 year POW and my life mentor once gave me some advice about hitting the age of 60: never pass a urinal w/o using it, never ignore an erection and NEVER trust a fart. Cheers, Foxtail

Work Party should be easy for this event. Just odds and ends of stuff. Everyone setting up a walk should use this time to do just that, or before if you like. Bring shovels, rakes, saws and the like. I will pick up supplies like nails screws, Rope, we have 2/4's on site to use. We are renting Hooters, so they are all set, with plenty of TP. We need to install a pump in the well, and I would like to see some flag poles set up.
Any other suggestions?

For all those who didn't come, we had a great time. 37 people or so. Lobster on Friday and great competitions through the week. A new member Ethan Oliver won the custom squirrel rifle. Thanks to all that ran walks and the range! Nit Wit
