Hugh Awalt of Augusta has passed. Hugh was a very knowledgeable black powder hunter/shooter. In late years Hugh often came to the Gun Show to visit old friends.

Hugh was an awful nice man. He was the area NMLRA rep for years.He had an interesting and great life.

I have known Hugh for as long as I have been an Ancient One. Wealth of knowledge. Great guy. He would answer any question that you had, as long as you had a few hours to listen.
Rest in peace old friend.
